Lori Scanlon

Lori's work experience began at the age of 12, working in her dad's accounting firm, copying income tax returns. After obtaining her college degrees, Lori worked for the County Health Department in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as an environmental health specialist and later as the food program manager. In addition, she taught nutrition classes for the local community college evenings and weekends. Lori then spent 15 years moving around the world with her Air Force husband and their daughter. During that time, she volunteered for military spouses' groups, to include a lead role with the Readiness Assistance Volunteer program in Guam, which supported families of deployed military members.

Although her early career was satisfying, and she loved being a homemaker, Lori has always had a fondness for numbers, working as a treasurer for volunteer organizations and a part-time bookkeeper for small businesses. She recently obtained a Certificate of Accounting at Wenatchee Valley College and is now working on her Associate's degree. Outside of work, Lori enjoys swimming, yoga, gardening, cooking, reading and attending her daughter's piano recitals, choir concerts, and musical theater productions.
